Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payment Posting Executive to join our client US Healthcare Medical Billing team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring proper documentation in the billing system. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good knowledge of the medical billing process, and excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately into the medical billing software.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Verify EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERA files.
• Identify underpayments, overpayments, denials, and missing payments.
• Coordinate with AR and billing teams for payment-related queries.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity targets as per company standards.
• Prepare reports related to payment posting activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
• Handle payment exceptions and escalate unresolved issues to the concerned team.
Required Skills
• Good understanding of US Healthcare Medical Billing processes.
• Knowledge of EOB, ERA, denial codes, and insurance payment posting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a night shift environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and billing software.
Eligibility Criteria
• Experience: 1 to 5 years in Payment Posting / Medical Billing.
• Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• Candidates with prior experience in US Healthcare processes will be preferred.
